MARTIN MACLEAN BACK F.C
BACK FC’s Martin Maclean’s sideboard in his family home must be creaking under the weight of the medals he has won in the past month.
Maclean has helped his team mates to glory in both the Co-op Cup, the Moldova Cup and the Lewis and Harris League.
And if that wasn’t enough he has now been named Player of the Month for August 2011 giving him yet another richly deserved gong.
Here Maclean is presented with the award by Sportsworld owner Billy Flower.

WEST Side goal-grabber Scott Graham chalked up a little piece of island football history this week as he picked up the picked up the Player of the Month award for the second time – becoming the first ever double winner of the award in the process.
The Siarach striker won the award last season and doubled his tally this week when Sportsworld owner Billy Flower presented him with the gong for being the top performer in the Lewis and Harris League in July
JUNE WINNER
Western Isles Select manager, Billy Flower has announced his latest Player of the Month award.
The plaudit for June goes to young Back FC player, Fraser Macleod.
Macleod, who is now a regular in the first string line up for Back, has broken into the Select squad and was selected for the Western Isles men’s football team at the NatWest Island Games.
